- Elf Girl -
This drawing is based on a submission to my Dreamy Competition I had in the spring.
The minute I saw the photo of the cute girl I could picture her as a cute elf with a little freckles. Something about the pose I find fitting, something a bit innocent, yet playful. I gave her a little smile as oppose to the reference as I thought it worked better in my drawing and the idea of a happy elf.
I worked on this drawing during today. I was testing some new paper, some light grain sketch paper I got some weeks back. It's interesting to work with though the lack of softness and smoothness. I think I am going to use it for my next pencil drawing as well, to get to know it better.
