This is what I did saturday. I almost drew all day long. I've been wanting to do a coloured version of my Broken Doll from 2006.

I really like this 'broken' theme. I tried to make her skin colour fairly warm this time. I wanted the red to really stand out, I worked in many layers to get it to look bold.
With all the pastel drawings I have done lately I have noticed how colour appear different depending on the paper type, which is actually really interesting I think. I have yet to find what I like better.
My next pastel drawing will have a serene theme.
