- But the wind was stronger -

(it carried you away from me)

Originally I got the idea when I heard Diary of Dreams – But the wind was stronger. This was the very first song I ever heard by them and I was amazed. Just some incredible sadness about their music that really catches me, same way sadness always seems to appeal to me.
Anyway, I was listening to this song in early spring 2006, I was filled with great sadness at the time and I pictured this girl sitting on a deserted ground, all alone.. the wind blowing her hair all around her. The wind had carried her sweet love away, maybe because what they had wasn’t strong enough.
The image stuck in my head but didn’t really had the motivation to actually do this drawing. Till some months back, when I found a picture by: link
It was just the right position of the feet, body.. her hands. Everything fitted and I felt like it was time to finally do my drawing.
I origally intented it to be in the style of Bleeding Heart, and I'll most likely be doing another version of this drawing as this wasn't exactly what I had in mind, so wait around for version ll.

Made with a black ink.
