This is a big painting I did today. The biggest one I have ever done, 60x80cm. I have never bought a canvas that big due to the fact they are so expensive and I have never been as passionated about painting as drawing so it never really crossed my mind. At my new place I really need something on my walls so that's mainly why I did this painting.
I have to say I really really enjoied making this painting. Something very freeing about painting abstract, just letting your thoughts go and paint. I was listening to Foo Fighters while painting, I have never heard their music before other than the song "Best of me" which I really like, great song. But they were showing this live show on Mtv so I had it playing in the background and just painted for an hour or so. I tried to avoid making it look like something but I think I unconsiously made it look like something still, maybe some of you can see it :)
