I wanted my contribution to this year Breast Cancer Awareness to be something strong and beautiful.
When I saw a photo of my friend Robin I felt like she could represent that feeling of surviving something horrible, as cancer. With her head held high and being a little vulnerable in expression she's a symbol of the desise. I think it takes a lot of strenght to overcome this and it must take so much of you to held you head high in situations. I am grateful that I haven't had cancer in my near family but I have to admit it's one of the deseased I fear most as it can hit everyone no matter health and age.
I really wish the best for those that have had cancer of any kinds near to them and their dear ones.
